As we move through the 2008 race schedule, pray for race teams, speedways, fans and Raceway Ministries groups as they prepare for another year of competition and ministry.  Please email roger@racewayministries.com if you have information or updates.

August 2008

July 30 - August 1.  Montreal, Quebec.  Circuit Gilles Villenueve. Rolex Sports Car Series.  Pray for these competitors as they race on this coarse.  Also, pray for the development of a Raceway Ministries group in Montreal.  If you or someone you know would be interested in getting involved, please contact Roger Marsh, National Fellowship of Raceway Ministries, roger@racewayministries.com. August 2.  Montreal, Quebec.  Circuit Gilles Villenueve.  NASCAR Nationwide Series.  Pray for Chaplain Lonnie Clouse as he minsiters to these teams.  Also, pray for the development of Raceway Ministries in Montreal.  Specifically, pray for the directors of racing there, that they will be favorable to allowing a Raceway Ministries group to serve at the CGV.  August 2.  Hickory, North Carolina.  Hickory Motor Speedway.  USAR Pro-Cup Series. Pray for Chaplain Jim Evans as he ministers to these racers and teams.  Also, pray for the development of a local-church-based Raceway Ministries group for this speedway.  If you or someone you know would be interested in getting something started there, contact NFRM Director of Weekly Racing Ministry, Ron Bruce. ARCA Series, 8/2.  Pray for ARCA Chaplain Bill Krick as he recovers from recent heart surgery, and pray for those who will minister in his place at this event. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, 8/3. Pray for NSCS Chaplain Tim Griffin as he shares Christ with these competitors.  Also, pray for Pennsylvania Racing Outreach as they share Christ with the race fans and others at this event.  For more information about PRO, CLICK HERE.
