Frank Stark, of Strafford, Missouri, is is one of the pioneers of Raceway Ministries work.  After spending several successful years as a pastor, Frank began ministry to race fans in Atlanta, Daytona, and Talladega in the 1980's, and he has been instrumental in founding numerous other raceay ministries groups, as well as the National Fellowship of Raceway Ministries.  In addition, Frank has served as chaplain of the ARCA series, and as chaplain at local raceways and speedways in Missouri.  Frank is available for consultation, training or speaking, and he provides a raceway ministry instructional guide entitled, "Ladies and Gentlemen, Start Your Engines."  You can reach Frank at 417.736.3073, or at frank.stark@att.net.   
Fred Culler, former chaplain and ministry director at Myrtle Beach Speedway in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is a great resource person for the National Fellowship of Raceway Ministries.  Having served formerly as the vice-president of the group, Fred capably provides advice, consultation and training for those who are interested or currently involved in ministry to fans, competitors and owner/operators of local, weekly racing.  Fred also has written the "Instructional Manual for Local Racing Venue Ministry," which serves as a very helpful guide for those who desire to share Christ and minister relationally to folks at the local raceways.  Call Fred at 336.869.5613 or 336.847.4235 or email him at Fgc1579@northstate.net. JAMA Ministries is available to provide some essential support resources for your next ministry event at a speedway!!  Based in Warner Robbins, Georgia, Mark Walters and the group currently are setting calendar dates for 2004, and would like to provide sound, lighting, chairs, and even a top-shelf barbecue grill complete with a staff to do all the set up, operation and serving.  They are willing to go anywhere as long as scheduling is logistically possible from one location to another.  If you would be interested in securing the services of JAMA, contact Mark at 478.335.4018, or visit the www.jamaministry.com web site.  Mark also is chaplain for the National Muscle Car Association, so visit that web site, too at www.nmca-racing.com
Motor Racing Outreach, based in Concord, North Carolina, is the primary provider for ministry to several auto, boat and motocross racing series, including NASCAR.  MRO not only provides chaplains for the competitors in these series, but they also provide training for chaplains who minister at any racing venue.  MRO also works with the National Fellowship of Raceway Ministry to organize and establish local groups for ministry to fans at many speedways.  Most recently, groups have been established at Watkins Glen in New York and in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Visit the MRO web site at www.go2mro.com for a complete look at all that Motor Racing Outreach does and provides, or call Cheryl Shore at 704.455.3828.
